Hindu Association of Pilbara
The Hindu Association of Pilbara (Inc.) is a not-for-profit organisation registered in the City of Karratha that aims at forming a cohesive group of like-minded people willing to participate in promoting, practicing and retaining the invaluable traditional and cultural values of the Hindu way of living grounded in ‘Dharma’. We intend to create an environment of own well-being and strive to reach out to others in need for the collective well-being of all in the community, within our capabilities and limitations
Vision
- “लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु” is a profound sentiment often expressed in various spiritual and philosophical traditions. Let’s break it down:
- “लोकाः” (lokah): This refers to all realms, worlds, or dimensions of existence. It encompasses not just the physical world we inhabit but also the metaphysical realms and all beings within them.
- “समस्ताः” (samastah): This means all, entire, or whole. It denotes inclusivity, indicating that the wish is not limited to specific individuals or groups but extends to every being without exception.
- “सुखिनः” (sukhinah): This word derives from “सुख” (sukha), which means happiness or well-being. “सुखिनः” (sukhinah) refers to those who are happy, content, or blessed with well-being.
- “भवन्तु” (bhavantu): This is derived from the verb “भू” (bhu), which means to become or to be. “भवन्तु” (bhavantu) is the plural imperative form, meaning “let them be” or “may they become.”
